If you confirm a booking with us, we will assume you have read and accepted our terms and conditions as set out below.
Deposits & Payment
Deposits – We require a Debit or Credit card deposit to secure your booking.
All deposits are NON-RETURNABLE and as such, we recommend you obtain travel insurance against cancellation. In addition, deposits are not transferable.
Balances – Our preferred method of payment is cash or debit card. We also accept credit cards & non-UK issued credit & debit cards. Non-EU issued & Corporate Credit Cards will incur an additional 2% administration fee.
We regret that we are no longer able to accept cheques.
Cancellation & Booking Reductions
When you make a reservation it is a legal contract between Ardlogie Guest House and yourself. Please note that our cancellation policy is part of this contract.
Cancellation/Booking Reduction by guests:
If you need to cancel your booking for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible.
Up to 28 days notice – No charge, except for your non-returnable deposit
Less than 28 days notice – Cancellation charge equivalent to the cost of one nights stay per room booked (less deposit). Less than 14 days notice – Cancellation charge equivalent to the full value of the booking. Cancellation charges will be charged to the debit/credit card details provided.
No contact or no show by 8pm (20.00) on arrival day – the full value of the booking will be charged to your debit/credit card provided.
No reduction is made for temporary absence or for departure earlier than confirmed.
We would recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you in the event of cancellation.
Cancellation by us: Should it be necessary for us to cancel a booking, we will contact you immediately to explain the situation and your deposit will be refunded in full. Should you wish us to, we will attempt to book you into another local Guest House or B&B of the same standard.
Damage/Breakages – Ardlogie Guest House is our home (as well as our business) and we do expect guests to treat the premises and contents with care and respect. Whilst within reason some wear and tear is inevitable, guests are responsible for any damage caused or missing items, the repair or replacement of which will, at the discretion of the proprietors, be charged at cost.
Check In – Guests can check in anytime between 2pm & 6pm (14.00 & 18.00) on the day of arrival. Please let us know beforehand if you are due to arrive outwith these times so that arrangements can be made for your arrival. On occasion we may offer a self check-in service. In this instance a Welcome Note will be displayed in our guest reception hall with directions to your room etc.
Check Out – Rooms must be vacated by 10.00 on your day of departure.
Delays – No liability can be accepted for adverse weather conditions which delay your travel plans, as such we recommend that all guests take out adequate insurance.

Pets – As much as we love our animal friends, we regret pets are not allowed at Ardlogie.
