There are many opportunities to indulge your passion for cycling around Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park
Road Cycling – The long distance route from Glasgow to Inverness passes through Aviemore and we often have the company of cyclists doing the Lands End to John O’Groats route LEJOG.
Mountain biking – This is becoming more and more popular. There are miles and miles of cycling tracks around the Aviemore area including a newly built track leading from the Cairngorm Mountain back into the village (The Old Logging Way), which takes you through the Glenmore Forest and Rothiemurchus estate. There are many shops that hire out bikes by the half-day, day or weekly and provide trail maps
We have a selection of maps and guides at Ardlogie Guest House as well, which can be borrowed. We have a lockable storage shed for bikes and drying facilities for wet gear.
