Cairngorm Mountain
A ‘must do’ is a visit to Cairngorm Mountain. This exciting journey really is a wonderful experience, winter or summer. The views from the top are superb, weather permitting, the breezes on the viewing patio bracing, and the Cairngorm Mountain Experience Visitor Centre is great fun. You can also enjoy a snack or a cup of coffee in the highest restaurant in the land !
Rothiemurchus Estate
Rothiemurchus is a superb Highland Estate located just a few minutes from Ardlogie Guest House here in Aviemore, at the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. It’s got an excellent reputation and is seen by many of our guests as one of the finest outdoor recreation centres in the North of Scotland. It’s a fantastic place that offers you a unique blend of stunning landscapes, wonderful wildlife, exciting outdoor activities and superb shopping, all in an area of outstanding natural beauty. You can enjoy over 30 different activities, all with qualified instructors where appropriate, and all set against a backdrop of breathtaking surroundings with beautiful lochs, rivers & moorlands.
Glenmore Reindeer Centre
A daily guided Hill Trip with one of our experienced reindeer herders takes visitors up onto the mountainside where the main herd live all year round, and the Paddocks and Exhibition in Glenmore offer an alternative easier way to see the reindeer for those unable to make the Hill Trip. The reindeer’s soft velvet noses mean they are a delight to hand-feed and with their endearing and friendly nature, a visit to see the reindeer on the hill is an unforgettable experience.

Glenmore Forest Park
Glenmore Forest Park lies at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. It’s a great place to see what makes the National Park so special: forests that have been growing for centuries form a green sea around high, rounded mountains, and lochs with sandy beaches glitter in the sun. Rare wildflowers and birds thrive among the trees – much of the forest park is a National Nature Reserve. Best of all, it’s easy to explore, with plenty of things to see and do whatever your mood.

Highland Wildlife Park

Visit the Osprey Centre
