Wildlife

Ardlogie is on the edge of Aviemore village and within the Cairngorms National Park, an area which includes thousands of acres of moorland and forest, teeming with magnificent wildlife.

The RSPB owns the nearby Insh Marshes Nature Reserve and the Loch Garten Nature Reserve, home of the world famous Ospreys, both of which are only a short drive from Aviemore. Also close by is the award-winning Highland Wildlife Park, with its polar bears, amir tigers, wolves & bison and a host of Scottish wildlfe including the wildcat and pine martin.

At nearby Glenmore, you can visit The Cairngorm Reindeer Herd and the Cairngorm Sled Dogs - booking essential to visit the dogs.

The Osprey can be seen nesting between May and October. They can also be seen daily flying past Ardlogie on route for a snack at the local fish farm.
